UC Browser is the most widely used browser on android, second only to Chrome. Here is a feature that you may have missed which it had in it the whole time. It has an AMOLED friendly theme/skin for websites, which replaces the background of every website with a pitch black background and the text with a white color. It works great unlike most other browsers that offers similar features. (Most browsers in the app store posses a dark theme which basically just replaces the menu with a greyish black color or the background of websites with a greyish black color. But UC browser allows its users to skin/theme websites to pitch black.) The way to activate this theme is a task in itself.
So today we are here to help you activate this pitch black theme in UC Browser.
If you possess an amoled device follow BlackApps, for amoled friendly (pitch black themed) apps and this google+ collection for AMOLED friendly wallpapers.
Click on options menu as shown by the white arrow in the adjacent screenshot.
Tap on "Themes" as shown by the white arrow in the adjacent screenshot.

Before this step make sure you have a pitch black image in your gallery. If you havent got one download this or just click a pic with your fingering covering the lens fully.
In the Themes window that pops up tap on "Local Photos" as shown by the white arrow in the adjacent screenshot. Then navigate to the location where you saved the pitch black image and select it.
Then select the pitch black image from the list(a white tick mark in a blue circle will appear on the image) as shown by the white arrow in the adjacent screenshot.
In the same themes windows navigate to the Backgrounds tab by swiping from right end of screen to left. In the background tab select the circle with letters in white and background as pitch black as shown by the white arrow in the adjacent screenshot.

Now navigate back to the home screen of UC browser and enjoy browsing the web in a pitch black background! You can thank us by +1ding, sharing and commenting on this post. Well that's it for now.
